Trainee Finance Officer

Khyteesha joined Integrated ICT through a recommendation from TAFE and the Mid West Chamber of Commerce and Industry via the Working Together program. Working Together is a dedicated service with a focus to provide information, support and advice to business owners and operators in the Goldfields, Mid West, Great Southern, West Kimberley and South West regions to attract, recruit and retain young Aboriginal Employees. Khyteesha is studying a Certificate IV in Accounting and Book Keeping.

As a young indigenous girl, Khyteesha is driven and determined to succeed in her career, taking deliberate steps to ensure she makes the most of her opportunities. Khyteesha’s goals are to travel, buy a house and be financially stable throughout her life.

Khyteesha is naturally outgoing and, outside of work, enjoys spending time with family and friends. She has always loved sport and continues to play netball and basketball.

Khyteesha’s cultural heritage ties her to the Wilunya- Nhanhagardi people, also a part of the Amungu region of Western Australia on her father’s side and on her mother’s side, the Malgana people who traditionally lived in and around Shark Bay, known as Gutharraguada. Also, a part of Wongi, Njamal, Nagadju language groups.
