Recently Microsoft made an announcement regarding their global pricing. To create price parity across geographical regions they are applying an adjustment to pricing in line with the national currency against the US dollar, with this change to come into effect as of 1 September 2023. What does this mean for you?
On the next renewal date for your licensing, after the 1st of September 2023, your Microsoft 365 subscriptions will increase by 9%. This price rise impacts cloud and on-premises licensing costs for commercial, government, academic, and not-for-profit customers. Don’t know when your renewal date is? What licensing does it affect?
Here’s a list of the different licensing programs this increase will affect. It will impact all commercial cloud and on-premises services sold through the following agreements and programs:
- Enterprise Agreements
- Microsoft Customer Agreements (for online, CSP, and MCA options)
- Cloud Solution Provider Programs
- Microsoft Online Subscription Programs
- Microsoft Products and Services Agreements
- Open Value Subscriptions
- Service Provider License Agreements (SPLA)
